Peri Peri Chicken Sandwich


PERI PERI CHICKEN SANDWICH




Relatively healthy, spicy and delicious chicken sandwich. These sandwiches pack a big flavor punch, perfect for any day, any time.

Ingredients:

1. Bread slices
2. Boneless chicken cubes- 1/4 kg
3. Garlic- 2
4. Red chilli- 2
5. Oregano- 1/2 tsp
6. Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
7. Vinegar- 1 1/2 tsp
8. Olive oil- 1 tbsp
9. Salt- as needed
10. Oil- 1 tbsp
11. Chopped onion- 1/2 cup
12. Chopped spring onion- 1/4 cup
13. Butter- as needed
14. Tomato sauce- as needed

Grind chicken, garlic, red chilli, oregano, chilli powder, vinegar, olive oil and salt. Transfer it into a bowl and let it rest for 1 hour. 

Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and saute till it becomes light golden. Add ground chicken paste and cook till done. There should be no water left in the pan. Mix spring onion and saute for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame. This is the peri peri chicken stuffing. 

Take a slice of bread and spread some tomato ketchup. Put a layer of peri peri chicken mix and cover with another slice. Spread some butter on both outer sides and slightly grill it. 

Serve hot with ketchup.
