Cheesy Fish Balls


CHEESY FISH BALLS




Super delicious cheesy fish balls. This is always a hit when served as a starter and will definitely be the favorite of all fish lovers.

Ingredients:

1. Boneless fish cubes- 3/4 cup
2. Oil- as required
3. Chopped onion- 1/4 cup
4. Green chilli- 2
5. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
5. Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp
6. Salt- as needed
7. Soy sauce- 1 tbsp
8. Pepper powder- 1/4 tsp
9. Chilli sauce- 1 tbsp
10. Chilli powder- 1 tsp
11. Grated mozzarella cheese- 1/2 cup
12. Potato- 1 or 2
13. All purpose flour- 1/2 cup
14. Bread crumbs- 1 cup

Cook potato. Peel and mash it.

Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan. Add onion, green chilli, ginger garlic paste and fish cubes. Cook fish well. Mix soy sauce, salt, pepper powder, coriander leaves, chilli sauce and chilli powder. Saute for 2 minutes and switch off the flame. Take out the cooked fish pieces and slightly mince it. Add minced fish back to the cooked mix and stir well. Mix mashed potato and cheese. Make small balls and keep aside.

Make a slurry with all purpose flour adding enough water. It should have medium consistency. Dip each fish ball in this batter and roll it in bread crumbs.

Heat oil and deep fry fish balls till golden brown.

Serve hot with ketchup.


Notes:

You can use canned tuna instead of fish cubes.
