Reshmi Paratha
RESHMI PARATHA
Reshmi Paratha is an easy and traditional dish from Punjab. A sumptuous paratha which is characterized by its delightful texture and appetizing aroma. It is extremely soft and delicious.
Ingredients:
1. All purpose flour- 1 1/2 cup + for dusting
2. Mashed potato- 1/2 cup
3. Oil- 1 tbsp
4. Salt- as needed
5. Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp
6. Ghee- as needed
7. Milk- to knead dough
In a large bowl, mix 1 1/2 cup of flour, mashed potato, oil, salt and coriander leaves. Pour enough milk and knead into a soft and smooth dough. Make medium sized balls and flatten into round parathas.
Heat a pan. Cook paratha on both sides until done. Smear ghee on both sides while cooking.
Serve hot with any curry of your choice.
