ONION THORAN



A simple, easy, delicious and quick side dish for rice.

Ingredients:

1. Chopped onion- 2
2. Coconut oil- 1/2 tbsp
3. Mustard- 1 tsp
4. Green chilli- 3
5. Curry leaves- 1 spring
6. Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
7. Salt- as needed
8. Grated coconut- 1/2 cup

Heat coconut oil. Splutter mustard. Add onion, green chilli, curry leaves, turmeric powder, salt and coconut. Mix well. Cook on medium heat till onion turns translucent.

Serve hot with rice.
