Mushroom Malai


MUSHROOM MALAI




Malai Mushroom is from the Mugal cuisine. Its rich, creamy and delicious. A perfect side dish for all flat breads and rice.

Ingredients:

1. Mushroom sliced- 200 grams
2. Ghee- 1 tbsp
3. Onion- 2
4. Tomato- 3
5. Ginger- 1 inch piece
6. Green chilli- 2
7. Fresh cream- 1 cup
8. Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
9. Chilli powder- 1 tsp
10. Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
11. Salt- as needed
12. Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp

Grind tomato, ginger and green chilli into a puree.

Heat ghee in a pan. Add onion and saute till it turns pink. Add tomato puree and saute till oil appears. Mix cream and salt. Add mushroom and cook till its done. Mix chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala. Cook for 2 minutes and mix coriander leaves.

Serve hot as a side dish.
