ICE CREAM BREAD




Ice Cream bread is a simple dish and is a combination of cake, scone and a bread. Ice cream gets a whole new use in this tender bread recipe. Taste best when served with your evening tea or coffee.

Ingredients:

1. Ice cream- 2 cup
2. All purpose flour- 1 1/2 cup
3. Baking powder- 2 tsp
4. Salt- pinch

Preheat oven at 180 C.

In a large mixing bowl, allow ice cream to melt naturally. Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well into a thick batter. Transfer into a greased loaf tin. Bake for 35 minutes or till a skewer inserted comes out clean. Once baked, transfer it into a cooling rack.

Slice only after bread is cooled completely.


Notes:

You can use any flavor of ice cream for this recipe. Make sure you don't choose low fat or diary free ice creams.
