Chocolate Sponge Cake
CHOCOLATE SPONGE CAKE
A perfect chocolate sponge cake made with a few ingredients. You can use any frosting of your choice.
Ingredients:
1. All purpose flour- 1 cup
2. Cocoa powder- 1/4 cup
3. Baking powder- 1 tsp
4. Baking soda- 1/4 tsp
5. Salt- pinch
6. Egg- 3
7. Sugar- 1 cup
8. Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
9. Warm milk- 1/2 cup
10. Sunflower oil- 4 tbsp
11. Hot black coffee- 1 tbsp
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Preheat oven at 180 C.
In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla essence till it becomes frothy. Add milk, oil and coffee. Beat well. Add flour mix and gently fold well. Pour it into a greased baking tray and bake for 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
Frost with your favorite flavors and enjoy.
