Cheera Thoran
CHEERA THORAN
Cheera Thoran is a very nutritious, tasty and easy dish that can be served with rice.
Ingredients:
1. Chopped red cheera / spinach- 2 cups
2. Coconut oil- 1/2 tbsp
3. Mustard- 1/2 tsp
4. Chopped onion- 1
5. Green chilli- 2
6. Curry leaves- 1 spring
7. Grated coconut- 1/2 cup
8. Salt- as needed
Heat coconut oil in a pan. Splutter mustard. Add spinach, onion, green chilli, curry leaves, salt and coconut. Mix well. Cook closed in low flame stirring occasionally.
Serve hot with rice.
