Ragi Ghee Roast


RAGI GHEE ROAST




Ragi Ghee Roast are just like normal ghee roast dosas. It is crispy and taste similar to normal dosas. Ragi is a power house of nutrition and so there is no better way than to start your day with a healthy ragi ghee roast.

Ingredients:

1. Ragi flour- 1 cup
2. Urad dal / Uzhunnu- 1/2 cup
3. Salt- as needed
4. Ghee- as needed

Soak ragi flour in 2 cups of water for 3 to 4 hours. 

Soak Urad dal for 4 hours. Grind it to a fine paste adding some water and add it to the soaked ragi. Add salt. Mix well. The batter should have the consistency of normal dosa batter. Let it ferment for 8 hours.

Heat a tawa. Pour batter and spread it as thin as you can. Pour a tsp of ghee on top and cook till crispy.

Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
