Potato Vada
POTATO VADA
This is an easy to make and delicious snack recipe with potato. Though it sounds simple, it is very tasty and absolutely go well with your evening tea or coffee.
Ingredients:
1. Potato- 2
2. Gram flour- 2 tbsp
3. Chopped onion- 1/4 cup
4. Chopped ginger- 1/2 tsp
5. Salt- as needed
6. Green chilli- 1
7. Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp
8. Turmeric powder- pinch
9. Cumin seeds- 1/8 tsp
10. Oil- for frying

Boil potato till its cooked through. Drain and let it sit for 30 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, add potato and mash them well. Add gram flour, onion, green chilli, ginger, salt, turmeric powder, cumin and coriander leaves. Combine well. Make round flat discs or any shapes of your choice.
Heat oil and deep fry the potato vadas till they turn golden brown.
Serve hot with ketchup and mayonnaise.
