DONUTS




Donuts is a type of fried dough confectionery or dessert food. It is popular all over the world and prepared in various forms as a sweet snack. 

Ingredients:

1. Warm milk- 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp + 2 tsp
2. Sugar- 1 tsp
3. Yeast- 1/2 tsp
4. All purpose flour- 2 cup
5. Egg- 1
6. Icing sugar- 1/4 cup
7. Butter- 2 tbsp
8. Oil- for frying
9. Melted chocolate / sprinkles / chocochips etc- for garnish

Mix sugar and yeast in warm milk. Keep it aside for 20 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, add flour, egg, icing sugar, butter and yeast-milk. Combine all and knead well to form a soft dough. Let it sit untouched till the dough doubles in size.

Once risen, cut the dough in the shape of donuts and keep it aside again for another 1 hour.

Heat oil. Deep fry donuts till golden brown and drain on an absorbent paper.

For making the donuts prettier and more tastier, you can dip them in melted chocolate and decorate with sprinkles or chocochips. Decoration is totally up to your imagination and taste.
