Spring Onion Thoran


SPRING ONION THORAN




Spring onion / ulli thand thoran is a typical Kerala style curry that can be served with rice.  

Ingredients:

1. Chopped spring onion- 2 cups
2. Onion- 1
3. Coconut oil- 1/2 tbsp
4. Green chilli- 2
5. Curry leaves- 1 spring
6. Grated coconut- 1/2 cup
7. Salt- as needed

Heat oil in a pan. Add spring onion, onion, curry leaves, green chilli and grated coconut. Mix well. Cook closed in low flame until done. Stir occasionally. Adjust seasoning. 

Serve hot as a side dish with rice.
