Rava Unda / Semolina Balls
RAVA UNDA / SEMOLINA BALLS
A quick sweet recipe that is made with only a few ingredients. The rich flavor of roasted semolina, the crunch of nuts and the flavors of spices makes it a special sweet that everybody likes.
Ingredients:
1. Semolina- 1 cup
2. Ghee- 11/2 tbsp
3. Hot milk- 2 cups
4. Cardamon powder- 1/2 tsp
5. Sugar- according to your taste
6. Cashew nuts- 1/2 tbsp
7. Raisins- 1/2 tbsp
Dissolve sugar in hot milk.
Heat ghee in a pan. Roast cashew nuts and raisins seperately and keep it aside.
In the same ghee, roast semolina till it slightly changes it color. Pour milk and stir continuously to avoid forming lumps. When its almost dry mix cardamon powder and roasted cashew nuts and raisins. Mix well. Cook till its dry. Switch off the flame and let it sit for 5 minutes. Make small round balls and serve.
Delicious sweet semolina balls are ready.
