Punjabi Lassi


PUNJABI LASSI




A classic, traditional beverage for hot summer days. It is the pride and joy of Punjabi cuisine. Now a days its a popular drink all over India.

Ingredients:

1. Thick yogurt- 1 1/2 cup
2. Chilled water- 1/4 cup
3. Cold milk- 1/2 cup
4. Sugar- 2 tbsp
5. Cardamon powder- 1/8 tsp
6. Rose water- 1 tsp
7. Saffron- for garnish

Whisk yogurt till it gets frothy. Add water, milk and sugar. Whisk it well. Mix cardamon powder and rose water. Beat well. Pour into glasses and garnish with saffron.

Serve cold.
