Prawns Masala Rice


PRAWNS MASALA RICE




Delicious and easy Prawns Masala Rice. This extravaganza is filled with favors and its aroma is irresistible.

Ingredients:

1. Prawns- 1/2 kg
2. Ginger garlic paste- 1 1/2 tbsp
3. Salt- as needed
4. Vinegar- 1 tsp
5. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
6. Chilli powder- 1 tsp
7. Basmati rice / Biriyani rice- 2 cup
8. Boiling Water- 4 cup
9. Oil- 3 tbsp
10. Fennel seeds- 1 tsp
11. Tomato- 2
12. Onion- 3
13. Green chilli- 5
14. Curry leaves- 2 spring
15. Kashmiri chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
16. Garam masala- 1 tsp
17.Coriander leaves- 2 tbsp

Marinate prawns with ginger garlic paste, salt, vinegar, turmeric powder and chilli powder for 30 minutes.

Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a cooker. Roast fennel. Add rice and saute for 2 minutes. Add boiling water and add seasoning. Add Tomato and mix well. Close the cooker and initially do not put whistle. Put the whistle on when steam starts coming heavily through the hole and reduce to simmer immediately after putting the whistle. Cook for exact 5 minutes in simmer and switch off the flame. Let it sit for 20 minutes.

Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan. Saute onion, green chilli and curry leaves till it turns light golden. Add prawns and cook it well. Mix kashmiri chilli powder and garam masala. Saute for 2 minutes. Mix cooked rice and stir well. Cook on medium flame for 4 minutes. Add coriander leaves and mix well.

Serve hot.
