Pasta Murukku


PASTA MURUKKU



Crispy, crunchy pasta murukku is so incredibly fun to eat and so delicious. A completely unique snack.

Ingredients:

1. Pasta (Macaroni / Penne)- 1/2 cup
2. Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
3. Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
4. Chaat masala- 1 tsp
5. Oil- as required
6. Salt- as needed
7. All purpose flour- 1 cup

Cook pasta following the instructions on the packet. Transfer boiled pasta to a sieve and sift flour through it. Keep it aside.

In a large mixing bowl, mix pepper powder, chaat masala, chilli powder and salt.

Heat oil and deep fry pasta until crispy and golden. Drain it on an absorbent paper. Add the fried pasta into the masala and mix well.

Serve with tea or coffee.


Notes:

Do not serve pasta murukku immediately after frying. Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
