Onion Coconut Paratha
ONION COCONUT PARATHA
This is a paratha recipe with the flavors of onion and grated coconut. Its a new different taste from ordinary parathas.
Ingredients:
1. Wheat flour- 2 cups
2. Chopped onion- 1
3. Grated coconut- 1/2 cup
4. Salt- as needed
5. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
6. Chopped green chilli- 2
7. Garam masala- 1 tsp
8. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
9. Coriander leaves- 3 tbsp
10. Thin coconut milk- to knead the dough
11. Oil- as required

10. Thin coconut milk- to knead the dough
11. Oil- as required
Add flour, onion, coconut, salt, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, coriander leaves and green chilli into a large mixing bowl. Pour coconut milk and knead it into a soft dough. Cover and keep aside for 20 minutes.
Divide dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into round parathas.
Heat a tava. Cook the flattened parathas on both side till they are done. Brush oil on both sides while cooking.
Relish hot with curd and pickle.
