Butter Roti


BUTTER ROTI




This mouth watering variety of roti goes well with any variety of curries. Butter roti is extremely soft and is filled with the aroma of real butter.

Ingredients:

1. Wheat flour- 2 cup
2. Butter- as required
3. Cumin seeds- 1 1/2 tsp
4. Salt- as needed
5. Warm water- to knead the dough

Add wheat flour, cumin, salt and 1/4 cup of melted butter into a mixing bowl. Pour warm water and knead it into a soft and smooth dough. Knead it well for 5 minutes. Cover the dough with damp cloth for 30 minutes.

Make balls out of the dough and flatten it. Spread some butter on top of it and again roll into a ball. Flatten into a thin disc.

Heat a tava. Cook the roti on both sides. Smear some more butter on both the sides while cooking it.

Enjoy hot with any curry of your choice.
