Aloo Keema / Mutton Mince with Potato
ALOO KEEMA
Aloo Keema is a traditional dish of India and Pakistan. Its simple to prepare and it taste great as a side with roti, naan, paratha etc.
Ingredients:
1. Mutton mince- 1/2 kg
2. Oil- 1/4 cup
3. Cardamon- 2
4. Clove- 2
5. Bay leaf- 1
6. Cinnamon- 1/2 inch piece
7. Onion- 1
8. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
9. Chopped tomato- 3
10. Green chilli- 3
11. Salt- as needed
12. Chilli powder- 2 tsp
13. Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
14. Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
15. Potato cubes- 2 potato
16. Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp
Heat oil in a pan. Roast cardamon, cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf. Add onion, green chilli and ginger garlic paste. Saute till it turns light golden. Mix chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala. Saute for 1 minute. Add tomato and cook till it turns mushy. Add potato and mutton mince. Add seasoning. Cover and cook till the meat and potato are tender. Saute till the meat looks a bit fried and crispier. Garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
Serve hot as a side dish for paratha, roti etc.
