Quail Egg Masala / Naadan Kada Mutta Masala


NAADAN KADA MUTTA MASALA / QUAIL EGG MASALA





Delicious and spicy Kerala style Quail Egg Masala is very easy to make. This curry can be served with any breakfast dishes like Appam, Roti etc

Ingredients:

1.  Boiled Quail Eggs- 8
2. Coconut oil- 1 tbsp
3. Onion- 2
4. Ginger Garlic paste- 2 tsp
5. Curry leaves- 1 spring
6. Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp
7. Green Chilli- 3
8. Tomato- 2
9. Chilli powder- 1 1/2 tsp
10. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
11. Garam masala- 1 tsp
12. Salt- as needed

Heat oil in a pan. Saute Onion, Ginger Garlic paste, Curry leaves, Green Chilli and Coriander leaves till they turn golden. Add chopped Tomatoes and saute till mushy. Mix Chilli powder, Turmeric powder and Garam masala. Saute for 1 minute. Adjust salt. Add Eggs and mix well.

Serve hot as a side dish.
