Poricha Aripathiri / Fried Rice Pathiri


PORICHA ARIPATHIRI / FRIED RICE PATHIRI






Like any other Malabar dishes Poricha Aripathiri is one of the main and common breakfast items in Malabar area. It is crispy, tasty and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

1. Roasted rice flour- 2 cup
2. Salt- as needed
3. Water- as required
4. Oil- for frying

Boil water.

Take rice flour in a large mixing bowl. Add salt. Pour hot water and knead it into a soft and smooth dough. Make small balls out of it. Flatten them and deep fry in hot oil till light golden.

Serve hot with any spicy curry of your choice.
