Chicauli
CHICAULI
Chicauli is a starter or a snack dish which is very delicious. It is a tasty and healthy mix of Chicken, Cauliflower, Broccoli and other ingredients.
Ingredients:
1. Cauliflower florets- 1 cup
2. Broccoli florets- 1 cup
3. Boneless Chicken- 1 breast
4. Butter- 1 tsp
5. Salt- as needed
6. Turmeric powder- 1/8 tsp
7. Gram flour- 1/2 cup
8. All purpose flour- 2 tbsp
9. Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
10. Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
11. Chilli powder- 1 tsp
12. Ginger Garlic paste- 1 tsp
13. Lime juice- 1 tsp
14. Oil- for frying
15. Chopped Coriander leaves- 2 tbsp
16. Green Chilli- 1
17. Cooking Soda- pinch
18. Water- as needed
Cut Chicken into small pieces. Marinate Chicken with Turmeric powder and salt. Heat Butter in a pan and cook Chicken well. Keep aside.
Steam Cauliflower and Broccoli for 4 to 5 minutes or microwave it till wilted.
In a mixing bowl add Chicken, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Gram flour, All purpose flour, Garam masala, Pepper powder, Chilli powder, Ginger Garlic paste, Lime juice, Coriander leaves, Green Chilli, Cooking soda and salt. Mix well. Add 1 or 2 tbsp of water only if you feel its necessary. Take spoonful of this mixture and deep fry in hot oil till it turns light golden.
Serve hot with ketchup.
