Soya Chunks Coconut Milk Curry


SOYA CHUNKS COCONUT MILK CURRY




Soya Chunks in Coconut Milk gravy is a delicious curry that can be prepared in less than 30 minutes. It can be served with Appam, Roti etc

Ingredients:

1. Soya Chunks- 1 cup
2. Coconut oil- 1 tbsp
3. Onion- 1
4. Green chilli- 3
5. Curry leaves- 1 spring
6. Garlic- 5
7. Tomato- 1
8. Chilli powder- 1 1/2 tsp
9. Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
10. Coriander powder- 1 tsp
11. Garam masala- 1 tsp
12. Soy sauce- 1 tsp
13. Thick Coconut milk- 1 cup
14. Water- 1/2 cup


Soak Soya Chunks in water with some salt for 4 hours. Squeeze out the water well and keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan. Saute Soya chunks, Onion, Green Chilli, Curry leaves and Garlic for 5 minutes. Add Tomato and saute till it turns mushy. Mix Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Coriander powder and Garam masala. Saute for 1 minute. Add Soy sauce, water and Coconut milk. Bring it to boil. Adjust salt. Cook to a thick creamy consistency and switch off gas.

Serve hot with Appam, Chapathi etc.
