Rava Oats Idli
RAVA OATS IDLI
Rava Oats Idli is very similar to Rava Idli. By adding some Oats to the Idli recipe, this breakfast becomes more healthier and nutritious. Fibre rich Oats and Rava combine to make delicious instant Idlis that you can enjoy fresh off from the steamer with Sambar and Chutney.
Ingredients:
1. Powdered Oats- 2 cup
2. Rava / Semolina- 1 cup
3. Curd- 1 cup
4. Cooking Soda- pinch
5. Chopped Carrot- 1/3 cup
6. Salt- as required
7. Chopped Green Chilli- 2
8. Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp
9. Water- 2 cup
In a mixing bowl, add Oats, Rava, Curd, Cooking soda, salt, Green Chilli, Carrot and Coriander leaves. Pour water and mix well to make a batter. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Grease Idli molds. Fill the batter and cook in a steamer for 15 minutes.
Serve hot with Sambar and Chutney.
