Mushroom Potato Masala


MUSHROOM POTATO MASALA




A spicy and easy to make masala recipe with Mushroom and Potato. Mushroom Potato Masala is a mouth watering curry that can be served with Chpathi, Naan etc. 

Ingredients:

1. Mushroom- 200 grams
2. Potato- 1 
3. Chopped Tomato- 1
4. Coconut oil- 1 tbsp
5. Chopped Onion- 1
6. Ginger Garlic paste- 2 tsp
7. Curry leaves- 1 spring
8. Salt- as needed
9. Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
10. Coriander powder- 1 1/2 tsp
11. Chilli powder- 2 tsp
12. Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
13. Garam masala- 1 tsp
14. Water- as required

Cut Potato into small cubes.

Heat oil. Saute Onion, Ginger Garlic paste and Curry leaves till it turns translucent. Add Potato and Tomato. Cook closed in medium flame till Potatoes are cooked well. Stir occasionally. Once cooked through, add Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Coriander powder, Pepper powder and Garam masala. Mix well and saute for 1 minute. Add Mushroom and mix well. Pour 1/3 cup water and cook Mushrooms well. Add more water if required. Do not add too much water as this curry has a thick gravy. Adjust salt.  

Serve hot with Roti, Naan etc.
