Carrot Halwa Pudding


CARROT HALWA PUDDING




Carrot Halwa Pudding is a delectable dessert and its creamy, rich and exotic.

Ingredients:

1. Grated Carrot- 2 cup
2. Milk- 3 1/2 cup
3. Sugar- 1/2 cup + 1 1/2 tbsp
4. Condensed milk- 3/4 cup
5. Ghee- 2 tbsp
6. Cardamon powder- 2 tsp
7. China grass- 5 gms
8. Water- 1/4 cup
9. Chopped Almonds- 1/2 cup

In a non-stick pan, cook Carrot and 2 cup of milk together. Stir occasionally till the milk gets dried up. Add 1/2 cup of Sugar and stir well. Pour 1/2 cup of condensed milk, Ghee and Cardamon powder when its almost dry. Stir continuously. When it becomes dry and starts leaving the side of the pan, switch off the flame. Move it in to a pudding tray and spread it as a layer on it. Let it cool down.

Soak China grass in 1/4 cup water for 15 minutes. Heat and melt it just before adding to the milk. 

Mix 1 1/2 cup milk , 1 1/2 tbsp sugar and 1/4 cup Condensed milk. Bring it to boil. After boiling, remove it from stove and let it rest for 3 minutes. Add the melted China grass and stir well. Pour it over the Carrot halwa. Sprinkle Almonds on top. Let it cool down and sets completely before refrigerating. 

Serve chilled.
