Ari Unda / Rice Balls
ARI UNDA
This is one of the traditional Kerala sweets which is easy to prepare and its healthy and cheap.
Ingredients:
1. Matta Rice- 1 cup
2. Grated Coconut- 2 cup
3. Powdered Jaggery- 1/2 cup
4. Cardamon powder- 1/2 tsp
Wash and drain Rice. Roast it till it slightly puffs up. Let it cool down.
When cold grind it in a blender. Add Coconut, Jaggery and Cardamon powder. Grind again blending everything together. Transfer it into a plate and make balls out of it.
Ari Unda is ready. Enjoy with your tea or you can have it at any time of the day!!!! :p
