Peanut Sesame Chutney
PEANUT SESAME CHUTNEY
Peanut Sesame Chutney is easy to make an it taste yummy with Idli and Dosa.
Ingredients:
1. Peanuts- 1/2 cup
2. Curry leaves- 2 springs
3. Chana Dal / Split Chickpeas- 1/2 cup
4. Sesame seeds- 1 tbsp
5. Asafoetida- 1/8 tsp
6. Green Chilli- 4
7. Ginger- 1/2 inch
8. Salt- as required
9. Water- as required
10. Oil- 1 tbsp
Heat oil. Roast Peanuts in medium flame for 3 minutes. Add Curry leaves and roast them. Add Chana Dal, Asafoetida and Sesame. Fry well for 3 minutes in low flame. Make sure not to burn it. Switch off flame and let it cool completely. Transfer this into a blender. Add Green Chilli, Ginger, Salt and water. Grind it well into a paste. Adjust thickness by adding water.
Delicious Chutney is ready. Enjoy!
