Orange Cake


ORANGE CAKE




Fragrant, moist and tender Orange flavored cake made with freshly squeezed Orange juice. 

Ingredients:

1. All purpose flour- 1 1/4 cup
2. Corn flour- 1/2 tbsp
3. Baking powder- 1 tsp
4. Baking soda- 1/2 tsp
5. Salt- pinch
6. Sugar- 1 tbsp
7. Condensed milk- 2/3 cup / 150 ml
8. Fresh Orange juice- 1/2 cup
9. Vinegar- 1 tbsp
10. Vanilla essence- 1 tbsp
11. Melted Butter- 1/4 cup

Mix flour, Corn flour, Baking powder, Baking soda, salt and Sugar.

Preheat oven at 180 C.

In a mixing bowl, combine Condensed milk, Orange juice, Vinegar and Vanilla essence. Pour melted Butter and stir well. Fold in the flour mixture just enough to combine well. Do not over mix. Move this batter into a greased pan and bake for 35 minutes.

Once baked, let it cool down completely on a wired rack before you slice it.
