Fried Paneer Rolls


FRIED PANEER ROLLS



Yummy fried and crispy Paneer roll is an easy made snack stuffed with Paneer and mixed herbs. It can be served as a starter or an evening snack.

Ingredients:

1. All purpose flour- 1 cup + 1 tbsp
2. Cooking soda- 1/4 tsp
3. Buttermilk- 1/2 cup
4. Paneer cubes- 1 cup
5. Pepper powder- 1 tsp
6. Pizza spices mix- 1/2 tsp
7. Chilli flakes- 1 tsp
8. Chopped Garlic- 4
9. Tomato ketchup- 2 tbsp
10. Bread crumbs- 1 cup
11. Water- as required
12. Salt- as required
13. Oil- for frying

To make the filling firstly, crumble the Paneer with your hands. To this add Garlic, Pepper powder, spice mix, chilli flakes, ketchup and salt. Mix everything well. 

Make a thin slurry of 1 tbsp all purpose flour and water. This is for sticking the sides of the roll and to dip the rolls before coating it with bread crumbs.  

Knead a soft dough by mixing 1 cup of all purpose flour, cooking soda, salt and buttermilk. Add water or more buttermilk only if required. Knead it for 2 to 3 minutes and let it rest for 15 minutes. Make small balls out of the dough and roll each of them into thin rectangular sheets. Stuff the filling and make rolls. Stick the edges. Dip each one of it in the slurry paste and roll in bread crumbs. Fry till golden.

Serve hot!
