Caramel Pudding
CARAMEL PUDDING
Caramel Pudding is a delicious traditional dessert with creamy caramel over silky custard. This pudding is always a favorite in my family and every singe bite of it reminds me of my mom. She makes it with so much love and perfection on every occasions and we all just love it.
The recipe below is from my mom.
Ingredients:
1. Milk- 2 glass
2. Egg- 3
3. Sugar- 6 spoon + as required
4. Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
5. Chopped Cashew nut- 1 tbsp
Take 6 spoons of sugar in a vessel (same vessel in which you are making the pudding) and caramelize it till golden. Make sure it coats every edge of the vessel evenly. Let it cool down.
In a blender, beat Eggs and Milk together. Add sugar according to your taste. Mix Vanilla essence. Pour it over the caramelized sugar. Sprinkle Cashew nuts all over. Cook in a steamer for 20 minutes in simmer. Once cooked take it out of the steamer and let it cool down completely. Refrigerate.
Serve chilled.
