Bread Patties


BREAD PATTIES




Bread patties can be served as a starter or an evening snack. This is something you can make when you have bread in your kitchen shelf and you are clueless how to finish them.

Its a kids friendly dish. You can add so many veggies in this recipe and trick your kids to eat them without them noticing it.

Ingredients:

1. Chopped Cabbage- 1/2 cup
2. Boiled Potato- 1
3. Boiled Green Peas- 1/3 cup
4. Chopped Carrot- 1/2 cup
5. Chopped Onion- 1 small
6. Bread slices- 5
7. Oil- as required
8. Grated Ginger- 1 tsp
9. Chopped Green Chilli-2
10. Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
11. Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
12. Bread crumbs- 1/2 cup + For rolling patties
13. Salt- as required

Peel Potato and mash them well.

Take each bread slices and dip them in water. Squeeze the excess water out and keep them aside.

Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan. Saute Cabbage, Carrot, Onion, Ginger and Green Chilli. Add salt and Green Peas. Mix Potato, Garam masala and Lime juice. Add 1/2 cup bread crumbs and mix everything really well. 

Make patties with this mixture and roll each of them in bread crumbs coating them evenly on all sides. 

Deep fry in oil till golden. Drain and serve with ketchup.
