Apple Burfi


APPLE BURFI




Apple Burfi is a lip smacking treat and its super easy to make. It is soft, slightly chewy and utterly delicious.

Ingredients:

1. Apple- 1
2. Lime juice- 1/8 tsp
3. Grated Coconut- 1 cup
4. Powdered Sugar- 1 cup
5. Water- 1 tbsp
6. Ghee- for greasing 
7. Chopped Pistachios- 1 tbsp

Peel Apple and chop into small pieces. Mix it with Lime juice and keep aside.

In a pan, heat Coconut and Sugar. When Sugar starts melting add Apple and stir well. Pour water and cook the Apples. Stir continuously. Switch off flame when its dry and it leaves the side of the pan without sticking. 

Grease a bowl or plate with Ghee. Put the Apple mixture as a thick layer and garnish with Pistachios. Let it sit for 4 hours. Cut into blocks and serve.
